Loky–Manambato Reserve

Loky–Manambato Protected Area is a protected conservation area in northern Madagascar known for its mosaic of dry forests, wetlands, and river systems between the Loky and Manambato rivers. The reserve is home to a wide variety of endemic wildlife, including several lemur species, reptiles, and birdlife adapted to both forest and aquatic habitats.

Tourism appeal comes from its biodiversity and relatively untouched landscapes, offering opportunities for eco-tourism, guided nature walks, and wildlife observation in one of Madagascar’s lesser-known but ecologically important northern regions.
