Belo Tsiribihina
Belo-sur-Tsiribihina is a riverside town in western Madagascar located along the Tsiribihina River. Known as a key departure point for river expeditions, it is one of the main gateways to exploring the region’s dramatic canyons, wildlife, and remote landscapes by traditional pirogue.
The town itself has a relaxed, off-the-beaten-path atmosphere, with tourism appeal centered on multi-day river trips, baobab scenery, and access to nearby western natural attractions such as Tsingy formations and dry forest ecosystems.
