Visiting the local people that surround Ranomafana National Park. The Tanala tribe is the group of people who used to live within the Park. Once the park became protected, the locals were forced to move. Take some time to visit them with them to learn about how the park has changed their way of life as hunter/gatherers. Learn traditional dance and even sip on some traditional rum that they make themselves.
